ÞÓRSMÖRK

Your journey begins with a scenic drive to Þórsmörk, where you'll witness the dramatic beauty of this untouched wilderness. Be prepared for an adventure as you traverse the rugged terrain in our modified Jeeps, ensuring a comfortable and safe exploration of this enchanting region.

The abundance of waterfalls dotting the Icelandic landscape can be overwhelming, making it wise to focus on the most remarkable ones, especially during your first visit to Iceland. We will conveniently pick you up from your accommodation, embarking on a remarkable expedition towards the famous Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which remains one of Iceland's most renowned natural wonders.

Witnessing its grandeur firsthand is undeniably worth all the hype. Moreover, the opportunity to walk behind the cascading water offers a unique and unforgettable experience.

Returning to our trusty Jeep, we will traverse the picturesque Eyjafjallajökull, another superstar among Iceland's natural marvels. With a view of one of the country's most famous volcanoes and its ice cap stretching beyond the windows, we will navigate numerous challenging rivers until we reach the breathtaking Thórsmörk valley. Abundant green moss, ferns, and birch forests adorn the landscape, crowned by beautiful mountain ranges on the horizon.

As the day draws to a close, we will visit the final destination on our Thórsmörk tour ,the otherworldly Stakkholtsgjá canyon, located in the southern Icelandic Highlands. This colossal canyon stretches approximately 2 kilometers and is enveloped by towering, moss-covered walls that reach heights of 100 meters.

The canyon presents a rewarding hiking trail and one of the most amazing landscapes in Iceland. Your ultimate reward awaits at the trail's end—a hidden waterfall nestled within a twisting gorge.
